Donald G. Bailey Field House

In a poignant ceremony on September 22, 2023, the Forest Hills community came together to rededicate the Field House as the Donald G. Bailey Field House. This tribute celebrated the enduring legacy of a man who personified excellence, making a lasting impact on generations of students, athletes, educators, coaches and the entire Forest Hills community..

"Excellence is the Tradition, and Mr. Bailey is the foundation of that tradition," echoed through the event, capturing the essence of a life dedicated to education, selfless service and mentorship. Former football players, students, coaching staff,educators and, notably, Mr. Bailey's sons and families attended, underscoring the far-reaching influence he had on our community.

The ceremony featured heartfelt speeches, painting a vivid picture of a mentor, educator and coach who not only imparted knowledge but also instilled values of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Mrs. Diane Bailey, a retired teacher from Forest Hills and Mr. Bailey's unwavering supporter, graced the occasion, symbolizing the enduring bond that has shaped the educational fabric of our community.
