SUN BUCKS Information For Families

Attention Forest Hills Families,

A new program, SUN BUCKS, has been established beginning this summer that will provide families with $120 per school aged child if they are from a low income family.

If your child was a student during the 23-24 school year and was receiving TANF or SNAP benefits they are automatically eligible to receive the SUN BUCKS benefits, which will be loaded onto the families existing EBT card sometime prior to the end of September 2024.

If your child was not receiving TANF or SNAP benefits during the 23-24 school year and you believe that your child should qualify for the SUN BUCKS program you can apply for the SUN BUCKS benefits at http://www.dhs.pa.gov/SunBucks. Please be sure to submit your application prior to August 31, 2024.
