Strengthen Communication with the Broader Community
By June 30, 2026, the District Superintendent will develop and implement a multi-tiered communication plan designed to engage the broader Forest Hills community beyond surface-level updates.  This will include mechanisms for authentic two-way communication, timely dissemination of district information, and active outreach to families, local organizations, and civic stakeholders to build trust, transparency, and shared ownership in the District’s mission.

Enhance Board Communication through Context-Rich Reporting

By June 30, 2026, the District Superintendent will enhance communication with the Board of School Directors by providing detailed contextual information, background rationale, and anticipated outcomes for all significant recommendations and action items.  This will include executive summaries, briefing memos, and data-informed justifications to support well-informed governance and decision-making.

Develop and Implement Evidence-Based Metrics for Success

By June 30, 2026, the District Superintendent will establish a framework of measurable outcomes and performance indicators aligned to district initiatives.  These metrics will be used to evaluate programmatic impact, inform continuous improvement efforts, and guide administrative and instructional priorities. Results will be shared regularly with stakeholders and integrated into strategic planning and annual reporting cycles.

Proactive Public Relations and Issue Management

By June 30, 2026, the District Superintendent will develop and execute a proactive public relations strategy that anticipates and addresses potential areas of concern before they escalate.  The plan will include consistent messaging, media engagement protocols, crisis communication planning, and showcasing efforts that highlight the District’s successes while promoting transparency and responsiveness.

Align Educational Programming with Data-Informed Practices

By June 30, 2026, the District Superintendent will continue to align educational programming with district goals by leveraging data-informed decision-making. This will include evaluating instructional programs, identifying achievement gaps, and implementing evidence-based strategies that lead to measurable student growth and improved academic outcomes.  Periodic reviews of student and program data will be conducted to drive ongoing refinement and support.
