Hello! Welcome to Mrs. Maderia's classroom webpage! My name is Sarah Maderia and I am so excited to teach special education at the Forest Hills School District. This is my 10th year teaching at Forest Hills. I currently teach Kindergarten and 3rd grade learning support and elementary autistic and emotional support. My classroom is located in the Elementary building, on the second floor, in room D1.
I received a bachelor's degree in elementary and special education from Saint Francis University in 2009. I received my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Clarion University in 2012.
Each and every child is unique, especially unique in the way they learn. My job is to find the best way to teach my students based on their unique needs, so they can learn and be successful. I will do my very best to create a comfortable, nurturing, and positive environment in my classroom that fosters student success. I am a strong believer in having an open door policy. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me via email, phone, or a note.
Thanks for viewing my webpage!
