Hello!  Welcome to our class website!  Third grade is a very exciting year for children.  This year students will be exploring everything from different types of bridges, to how plants grow, to why multiplication is important!

This website has been created to be a guide for families and students.  Here under the class calendar you will find topics listed that we're currently working on (including homework and test dates) as well as district-wide information. Be on the lookout for class newsletters, where I include details on upcoming concepts, events, and suggestions.  I send these home as a paper copy monthly.  Each Friday your child will also bring home a "Weekly Schedule" for the following week.  Included on this is your child's special schedule as well as posted assignments and tests found also on the calendar page of our website.  Students are required to hand-write their homework in their agendas nightly.  Please check and sign off here to check on your child's responsibilities for the evening or week.

This webpage also has useful links to help you and your child navigate through their third grade year!  Please take time to review and use them as needed!

I often refer to students as "super star students."  In order to be a super star, I expect your child to be excited about learning, do their best in a positive manner, and always challenge themselves to go above and beyond what they think they can.

Please feel free to contact me as needed by either phone or email.  No question or concern is unimportant when it comes to your child. I'm here to help them grow by providing group and individual instruction, reinforcement, enrichment, and enthusiasm.  I'm very excited for this school year and to share my love of learning with your child!
