Welcome to Mr. Petrunak's classroom! I am a 1995 graduate of Forest Hills High School. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in 1999 with a B.S. degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. In 2001, I completed my B.S. in Secondary Education for Biology, Chemistry, and General Science.
Currently, I am teaching General Chemistry for students who have an interest in science or who wish to fulfill a science credit requirement. This is a semester long course for students that have achieved a C+ or better in Algebra. I also teach Principles of Chemistry for students that would like a concept oriented science experience in this branch of Physical Science. This is a semester class. Finally, I am teaching Integrated Science I for 7th grade students. This course explores the branch of physical science. It explores concepts of both chemistry and physics.
