The Forest Hills Junior High School welcomes the opportunity to assist in the emotional and educational development of our students in these transitional years. Academic, athletic, and school-related achievements are routinely recognized within the school and community. Great pride is shared from the preparation and student achievement, resulting in respectable PSSA and Keystone Exam scores. The educational gap between the elementary school and the junior high school is bridged through a variety of introductory courses. Grade nine coursework begins the graduation requirements and class ranking process. Our interdisciplinary approach to the curriculum strives to maintain the connection for all subjects in a challenging, high interest level of instruction. The student-centered focus is emphasized in all we do. The emotional development of our students is supported through individual and small group guidance services and reinforced by our entire staff.
