Gifted Education Services
Our mission is to support intellectually gifted students throughout their high school career. This support comes in several forms:
- Differentiating the mainstream academic curriculum through the Gifted Individualized Education Plan (GIEP) to meet the needs of gifted learners when appropriate
- Providing individual college and career planning assistance and resources
- Mentoring for high ability students
- Opportunities for interactions with intellectual peers throughout the school day
- Opportunities for creativity enhancement activities
- Providing resources for families of gifted children
- Kinesthetic learning opportunities through manipulatives and strategic games
