School Safety, Preparedness, and Student Support
By June 30, 2027, the Assistant Superintendent will lead the continued evaluation and improvement of the District’s comprehensive school safety and emergency preparedness program. In collaboration with administrators, law enforcement, first responders, mental health providers, and community partners, the Assistant Superintendent will strengthen prevention, preparedness, response, recovery, and reunification procedures while promoting a safe, supportive, and hope-centered environment in which students and staff feel known, valued, and connected.


Instructional Alignment and Measurable Academic Growth
By June 30, 2027, the Assistant Superintendent will lead districtwide efforts to strengthen instructional consistency and improve measurable academic growth through curriculum alignment, explicit instructional practices, effective Professional Learning Communities, and the systematic use of student performance data. Particular attention will be given to ensuring vertical alignment, identifying instructional gaps, establishing clear expectations for student growth, and implementing responsive interventions and enrichment opportunities.

 

Career, College, and Future-Ready Pathway Development
By June 30, 2027, the Assistant Superintendent will expand and refine the District’s career-, college-, and future-readiness programming by strengthening the integration of the Portrait of a Future-Ready Ranger, increasing student access to authentic career exploration and work-based learning, and developing sustainable partnerships with business, industry, workforce organizations, and postsecondary institutions. 


Leadership Development and Hope-Centered Organizational Culture
By June 30, 2027, the Assistant Superintendent will strengthen the capacity of the District’s administrative and instructional leadership teams through structured coaching, professional learning, collaborative problem-solving, and regular feedback. Leadership development will emphasize instructional leadership, communication, relationship-building, accountability, resilience, and the use of goals, pathways, agency, and support to foster a positive and hope-centered organizational culture.

Strategic Funding and Resource Development

By June 30, 2027, the Assistant Superintendent will develop and implement a coordinated strategy to identify and pursue additional funding sources that advance the District’s strategic priorities. This work will include researching federal, state, foundation, corporate, and community funding opportunities; cultivating partnerships; coordinating competitive applications; and establishing systems to monitor grant implementation, compliance, sustainability, and measurable outcomes.
